Together, we are a team of passionate jewelers. Our obsessions lie in providing the utmost highest level of quality made jewelry to the discerning buyer. It started in an apartment closet with pliers, a jeweler's saw, some files, and a passion to create beautiful jewelry. Now, as a tight family, we create wearable pieces of art in a full scale jewelry studio. We love what we do and convey just that in our work.
Let us rewind to where Mr. DeSantis began his jewelry endeavor. Wayne DeSantis developed a manufacturing company by the name of Milaine Jewelers in 1978 starting in his apartment. By the early 90s, Wayne's company, Milaine, was manufacturing tens of thousands of gold and sterling silver league logo pendants for the NFL, NHL, NBA, NBL, and other professional associations. Also, Wayne was mass producing high quality gemstone jewelry for hundreds of retail stores and catalog companies around the United States. As mass production took a turn to overseas factories, Wayne DeSantis could no longer compete with the low labor pay these overseas companies where providing. That's when he decided to re-invent his business.
Now, with us brothers, Brent and Jonas, taking part in the family trade, gold and sterling silver artisan gemstone jewelry is what we craft. We do not outsource any part of our jewelry fabrication process. All our jewelry is created by us, using both new and old-world crafting techniques. We use the lost wax casting process; altering hand carved wax sculptures into wearable works of art.
